June can be the perfect time for a garden party on Long Island. Sometimes it rains. And that is how the day started at Spruce Pond, a beautiful home and the setting for a lovely garden party. Water was sprinkling down from above when i arrived to set up. I was glad the weather cleared just in time for some of the guests to dine alfresco under the tall trees by the outdoor pool.
